I speak to athletes about gaining crystal clarity on their goals and LIVING a personal daily standard that's specific to them. Living a goal-oriented life that's independent of comparisons to others, free of baggage from the past and unshackled from anxieties of the future IS possible. Throughout a 20+ year athletic career that culminated with winning Super Bowl 39 with Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, I learned scores of lessons about sports and life. My passion is to share them with athletes to help them accomplish THEIR goals.
For years, Lincoln Public Schools have been using cardiovascular fitness data to inform decision making on curriculum, programming and activity in Physical Education. More recently, we have taken a broad approach to identify areas of strength and weakness within the community to meet our students where they are and provide a bridge to lifestyle and community resources to ensure our students have the resources and tools to live a healthy and fit life. Come see how we continue to use GIS mapping to drill down in our approach to improving youth fitness in Lincoln!
